After becoming much acquainted in Math with images such as the one above, these Box Plots are great “maps” of the mathematic world. A great way of providing a “graphical summary” for a set of data, they are a useful tool in comparing two sets of information. The chart up top represents the median number of positions in which ants were recorded searching for the nest.
